AI strategy, setup, and coaching

Your business's AI team.

AI transformation that actually sticks. We help you decide what is worth changing, put it in place, then coach your people through the work itself, alongside the IT team you already trust.

The gap we work in

Most businesses already have AI tools. Fewer know where those tools help in a normal Tuesday.

The missing piece is rarely more software. It is someone who understands the work, knows the tools, and is around long enough to help.

Deciding is hard without seeing the work

Which workflows are worth changing, and which should be left alone, is not obvious from a demo. It becomes obvious after a week of watching how the work actually gets done.

A one-time training does not stick

People remember what they used the next day. Teaching built on their own tasks, repeated at a steady cadence, is what changes habits.

Questions need a person

"Is there a better way to do this?" is not a help-desk ticket. It needs someone who knows your business, your tools, and what your organization has approved.

How we help

Two services. Useful together, and each one stands on its own.

Strategy and setup gets you to good decisions and the first useful changes. Ongoing help and teaching keeps your people supported as they work. You can start with either.

Service one

Strategy and setup

Figure out what is worth doing. We sit with your people, investigate how work gets done, and assess the tools you already use. Then we help you decide what to adopt, configure, change, or build, and put the first useful changes into practice.

  • Interviews with leadership and staff, and time watching real work
  • Review of current systems, current AI use, and overlap between products you already pay for
  • IT involved early: what is approved, what the guidelines are, who owns what
  • Workflow experiments and tool evaluation in an approved environment
  • A short set of decisions: what to change first, what to leave alone, who owns the next step

The honest range of answers

Better use of an existing feature. A configured workflow. Teaching for one team. An integration or a build. Or no AI at all for that task. The recommendation follows the work, not a predetermined deliverable.

Service two

Ongoing AI help and teaching

Someone who knows your business and the work in front of you. This is a standalone service. It is useful whether or not we have built anything for you.

Named experts your people can call

Bring a question, a spreadsheet, or a difficult workflow. A named expert who knows your tools and constraints helps you work through the actual task, over a message or a short screen share, using the tools and data your organization has approved.

Teaching built around your work

Recurring sessions at a cadence we agree on: working sessions, office hours, lunch-and-learns, or role-specific workshops. They use your team's real tasks and approved examples. What we learn from day-to-day questions shapes the next session.

Questions feed the work

When the same question keeps coming up, it becomes a better lesson, a reusable workflow, a tool recommendation, or, when justified, an implementation project.

Supporting capability

When something needs to be built, we build it. Scoped and priced separately.

Andes Path's engineers build production systems for a living.

Working with IT

Alongside your IT team. Not instead of it.

Whether you have an internal IT department or an external managed service provider, we work with them. We follow your agreed security, access, and data-handling guidelines, coordinate tool selection and setup, and help your people put approved AI capabilities to use. We can train your IT team too.

We meet IT during discovery, learn what is already approved and underway, and agree who owns what before recommending changes. When a guideline should change, we recommend it through your approval process, not around it.

Request or decision
Working relationship
"My account will not sign in."
Your existing IT support leads. We are not a general help-desk replacement.
"How do I use our approved tools to prepare this report?"
Our named AI expert leads the workflow help and teaching.
"Can AI use information in our internal systems?"
We and IT jointly assess the workflow, access, approvals, and who implements what.
How engagements work

A few rules we stick to, and the order we do things in.

Every engagement follows the same order. We only move on to the next step once the current one is working. The end state we are aiming for: your people can improve their own tools and workflows, and your IT team is comfortable with how they do it.

Decide what you want to improve before picking a tool

Faster month-end. Fewer hours on intake. Something you could measure with or without AI.

Leadership picks the people

The first group to learn this is chosen by the owners or executives, so it carries weight.

One tool for everyone, chosen by the people using it

Tested on your real documents. Revisited once a year.

Write down what you know first

AI is only as good as the knowledge you give it. Documents first, automation later.

The order we work in

Most engagements only need the first four steps. Step five is a build, and we price it on its own. Step six is not really a step; it is how your business keeps running afterward.

Along the way we track each person's progress individually, so you always know who has actually picked this up and who still needs a hand.

  1. 01
Agree what success looks like. One written goal, where you stand today, and a list of the spreadsheets and workarounds people already rely on.
  2. 02
Pick a small group of your people.Curious, respected by their peers, from different parts of the business. They learn first and then help everyone else.
  3. 03
Get that group working.Choose the tool. Gather the documents it needs. Connect them. Each person solves one real task from their own job, then shows a colleague how.
  4. 04
Turn what worked into routine. The tasks that worked become standard ways of doing the job, with someone responsible for keeping each one current. New hires learn them on day one.
  5. 05
Connect the systems, if it is worth it.Done with your IT team. Only when the first four steps show it will pay off, and always scoped and priced separately.
  6. 06
Your people keep improving things on their own.Within rules you and IT agree on, and with us still available when they get stuck.

This approach borrows from published work by Amazon Web Services on how companies set up AI teams, McKinsey on why most AI pilots stall, and Thomas Davenport on business people building their own tools. Happy to share the full write-up. Commercial terms are agreed per engagement and put in writing before we start.

Common questions

The ones worth answering before a first call.

Do we need a custom AI application?

No. Many improvements come from existing tools, configuration, and teaching. We recommend a build when the need justifies it, and we scope it separately when we do.

Do you replace our IT provider?

No. We work with your internal IT team or managed service provider and agree who owns access, approvals, setup, and ongoing support. We can train them as well.

Who is this for?

The people whose work can benefit. That might be a small administrative team, a professional practice, or teams across a larger organization. The scope follows the work and the covered users, not the company's total headcount.

Do we have to buy another platform?

Not necessarily. We assess what you already have first and recommend additional tools only when there is a clear reason and your IT team agrees.

How is the teaching tailored?

Sessions use your team's actual tasks, tools, and approved examples. The questions people bring to the named experts between sessions shape what we teach next.

Is development included in ongoing help?

Everyday guidance and teaching are included. Substantial implementation is scoped separately, so expert help does not quietly turn into an open-ended engineering commitment.

How do you handle sensitive information?

We follow your organization's guidelines and work only in tools and environments your IT team has approved. Where a workflow touches sensitive data, we and IT assess it together before anything changes. We do not make blanket compliance guarantees on a website.
